The Department Chemical Engineering Materials Environment (DICMA) brings together researchers and professors highly committed to research and technological innovation in the areas of process engineering, materials, environment and safety and to the education of a variety of future professionals, including: chemical engineers, environmental engineers, safety engineers, application-focused professionals (Master degree), and R&D professionals (Philosophy Doctors) in the fields of industrial chemistry and materials and nanotechnology. Researchers and professors are co-adiuvated by a qualified technical and administrative staff.
DICMA is home to several research laboratories, libraries, teaching and meeting halls concentrated in the historical premise of "St. Peter in Chains”.
DICMA participates, institutionally and through its researchers, to university research centers (CISTeC), research, service and education centers (CERSITES), Joint Labs (Centre for Hydro-Eco, Nanolab Center) and, through its researchers, a spin-off.
DICMA is engaged in European, International and National research projects. DICMA also performs technological consultancy toward private companies, industrial groups and public Institutions, in a wide and multi-disciplinary domain encompassing energy, environment, materials and raw materials.
