ITACA - Innovative Training Centre to support a postgraduate 3rd cycle Advanced Course to face Environmental Emergency in Azerbaijan

The four-year project (November 2019 - October 2023) deals with the buiding up of a Training Center to become a reference point for research in Azerbaijan in the sector of sustainable extraction of energy resources and environmental remediation processes.

 

From September 2022 to June 2023, an Advanced Course on Environmental Remediation and Sustainable Oil and Gas extraction will be held in Azerbaijan for graduates and experts in the sector, jointly organized by European and local partners.

 

The Coordinator (Grant-Holder) of the project is prof. Luca Di Palma.

 

DICMA plays the role of coordinator of both teaching and administrative activities.

 

As part of the Higher Education course, a training period in Europe is granted to local students and teachers. DICMA will host 5 students from Azerbaijan to develop their final thesis project in the laboratories of the Department and up to 10 teachers for a period of training on advanced teaching methodologies applied to Engineering.

Il progetto, di durata quadriennale (novembre 2019 – ottobre 2023), riguarda la creazione di un Training Center destinato a diventare un punto di riferimento per la ricerca in Azerbaijan nel settore dell’estrazione sostenibile delle risorse energetiche e nei processi di risanamento ambientali.

Nel corso del progetto, da settembre 2022 a giugno 2023, si terrà un corso di Alta Formazione in Azerbaijan destinato a laureati ed esperti del settore, organizzato congiuntamente da parner europei e locali.

Il Coordinatore (Grant-Holder) del progetto è il prof. Luca Di Palma.

Il DICMA svolge il ruolo di coordinatore sia delle attività didattiche che amministrative.

Nell’ambito del corso di Alta Formazione è previsto un periodo di formazione in Europa per studenti e docenti locali. Il DICMA ospiterà 5 studenti provenienti dall’Azerbaijan per sviluppare il loro progetto di tesi finale nei laboratori del Dipartimento e fino a 10 docenti per un periodo di formazione su metodologie didattiche avanzate applicate all’Ingegneria.
